Hello everyone! My name is Sofia, I'm 27 years old and I've recently moved to Townsville for a new experience. I am eager to pursue my dream of working with animals. With five years of experience as a dog sitter, I have cared for dogs of various sizes and ages, as well as cats. I honed and expanded my skills during a year of work at a feline shelter.Currently residing in an apartment just ten minutes from the sea, surrounded by green parks, it's an ideal setting for leisurely walks with your dog. My dedication to the well-being of animals is reflected in the care and affection I provide.

I understand how challenging it is to leave one's dog or cat with others, and I'm aware of the responsibility and unpredictability that comes with caring for other animals. I am available for an interview to introduce myself and, most importantly, to inquire about the needs and requirements of the animal I'll be looking after. On the days I offer my availability, I'll be ready to dedicate myself 100% to all tasks at hand: walking, playing, resting, feeding, and cleaning.

I will adapt to their routines based on age, habits, and the owner's requests. I am a responsible person, always striving to perform my duties to the best of my ability. Additionally, I'd like to mention that having animals or having had them in the past is crucial for being able to care for other animals in the present. Dealing with specific issues with one's own pets enables effective management of diverse needs.

Volunteering at a facility like a cattery has been invaluable. Dealing with various animals, some frightened and distrustful, has equipped me with the skills to handle unforeseen circumstances, control situations, understand behavioral psychology, comprehend their language, and manage stress.
