Hi my name is Belinda and we are a family of 5; my partner Chris and I, our two boys and of course our 5 year old female Airedale Terrier Monte. We decided to sign up to pet sitting because we love animals, especially dogs, and wanted to find a friend for Monte (who also loves dogs!), so thought this was the best way to make that happen. I work part time in disability support, around 3-4 hours 2 days a week, but other than those hours I would rarely leave your pets alone. We live in Bardon and have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to run and explore plus shade to rest. We are fine with dogs being in the house as part of the family and also sleeping inside at night, if your pets prefer to sleep outside at night we have a fully covered area under our house. We live approximately 10mins walk from Sunset Park a fully fenced dog park where we take Monte for a run with neighbourhood dogs. Living in Bardon we're just below Mount Coot-tha, so there can be plenty of adventures exploring the mountain, plus in the wet seaon the creek fills with water, a great place for your pet to cool down.

We would only be taking one family per over night stay at anyone one time, that way we can give your pet the attention it deserves. We would discuss with you, your pets needs and walking routine. We normally walk our dog in the mornings in the hotter months and in the late afternoon. But happy to fit in with your pets. Occasionally there maybe a overlap of dates, but we will try to minimise those occasions.

Our drop off and pick up policy is drop off not before 2pm and pick up by 10am, otherwise there will be a daily fee of $45. This helps us have a smooth check in and departure for all your pets we have in our care.

If your pet needs some loving attention during the day, give me a call.. We can arrange a walk or off the lease dog park or home visits. Includes travel time within 5kml.

We would preference dogs that firstly get along with Monte, are vaccinated, toilet trained, socialised with other dogs and like/love children and have a general lovely nature. We will still be taking new clients for home visits within 4-5 kilometres of our home.
