My ex-wife is a dog trainer, so I have learned a lot. I had 2 big dogs myself - Airedale terrier and Murray River Retriever. I have been dog sitting/walking for about 5 years here in Melbourne. I take the dogs with me everywhere, we run and hike together.
I have a big 5 bedroom house with fully fenced backyard and a dog door. I study and work from home so dog sitting fits my lifestyle perfectly. You can see pictures on my profile. I have made a big dog door so trained dogs (almost all of them) can have a free access to the outside backyard.
I like to walk and run and always enjoy a company. So walking a dog 2-3 times a day and giving them physical excercise is part of my routine. If the dog likes to have a ride in the car and behaves well on leash and in public I take the dog to the beaches or hike to the forests and mountains nearby (depends on the length of a booking).

Fantastic to my dog Luna. Hired for dog walking while I was recovering from surgery and he spent extra time with Luna to get him used to her as she takes a little time to warm up to new people.
Great at reading dog body language and provided videos and information about her behaviours on the walks.

Jay has been a wonderful sitter looking after our dog whilst we are away. Jay is patient with our dog who has anxiety and always make an effort to do some activities and experiences during this stay. Detailed and meaningful updates, we don't have to worry about our dog whilst he is with Jay as we know he is in good hands.
