Hi there, 

I am friendly, easy-going animal lover. I have had dogs, recently a border collie who sadly passed last year, and have also had cats, rode horses and grew up on a lifestyle property with goats, sheep, ducks and chickens. 

I like all kinds of dogs, and am very used to having different breeds around me, either to stay in my home, or for me to look after in the pups home. 

I love to help people feel comfortable when they need to be away from their pups, to make sure they are well fed, exercised and cared for so as to put you at ease when you are travelling and not with them. I am a good communicator, so if there are any concerns on either side I am very open to discussing this, and finding resolutions.

I like to walk, and will accomodate how much, or how little you need your pup exercised. I don't have any pets of my own currently, as my border collie passed in early 2022. This is why I like to help other puppy-parents out, as I know it can be difficult to find the right caring person to be with your precious ones when you need to be away. I absolutely love having animals around, but am not quite ready to find my next little buddy just yet. This is the next best thing, to have other beautiful pups around, enjoy their company and help them be as much at ease as they can when their owners are away.

I am also very used to giving medications, and am diligent to make sure this is a priority to care for you pups needs.

I prefer to only have one pup at a time so as to make sure they have full attention, and are comfortable, however if you have more than one pup and they are used to living and playing together I will definitely consider minding them both.

When I have the pups staying with me, I make sure that I will be at home with them at all times. If we need to pop out for anything, they will come with me in the car, no problem. I am therefore available 24/7 for them, and will consider sitting whenever my calendar shows availability.

I am open to working with you, and your pup around where they like to sleep. I have an outdoor kennel, should you wish them to use that, but I am very used to them sleeping indoors with us. They can use their own bed, or one that I provide, and dependent on the pup itself (and their size, behavioural tendencies) they can also sleep in my room, and on my bed on their own blanket.

The property (as you will see on the pictures) is located by the sea. As I will only take dogs when I am completely available for them, they will never be left outside on their own. If they are needing to be outside, they will be on an extended lead where they have full run of the front land area. The pups that stay with us never get bored, or dig holes and I have not ever had a problem with there not being a fenced yard, as they are always with me, either inside or out.

Currently, my adult daughter is living with me and she absolutely adores dogs of all breeds, and is very used to caring for them and having them around.

If I am staying in your home, I will work in with you around the requirements for keeping the home, exercising and feeding your pup(s), and will bring in the mail, water gardens and any other general housekeeping needs. Your home will also be clean on your return, back to how it was on my arrival.

If staying in your home, I may need to work for short periods through out the day where I may be out of the home residence, but the majority of my work is from home so it will not be for long periods. I will work in with your needs, and your pups needs.

Again, I will fit in with the needs of your pup with regards to how many times a day, and where they prefer to walk. I am very easy-going and adaptable with this.
