Hello all!

My name is Claire and I am an avid pet lover. I got into this industry many years ago whilst travelling and have never looked back. I have an active account on Aussie house sitters with reviews however am looking to change the nature of my work. I am responsible, reliable, and industrious, 26 Yr old female who absolutely adores animals. I am also vegan and an animal rights activist. I studied human biology, psychology and neuroscience at university in both undergraduate and post graduate studies and am now working as a consultant!

Services I provide are predominately pet sitting at the owners house where the animals are most comfortable in their own environment. I find this approach leads to the least anxiety for the pets and ultimately leads to a better experience for them. I of course provide lots of love and affection to your loved ones, meals, pats, walks and lots of kind and encouraging words for them.

My motivation for becoming a pet sitter is that I have always had pets since I was young however travel too much to have my own! and I have been pet sitting for ~6 years in 2 different countries (Aus and the US). I am a fit and active individual who, loves walking, nature, hiking and reading.

Unfortunately I have lived away from my family for a 10 years and not had the opportunity or right house situation to get my own pets so am looking to both supplement my income as well as have more animal time in my life by signing up to Pawshake!

Currently working part time in the office however can be full time from home depending on the requirement of service! Looking to add value to the community by engaging with animals and do meaningful work that makes me happy. I am triple COVID vaccinated and have referees available on request.
