Rocio

Hi! My name's Rocio, but everybody calls me Ro. I'm from Argentina. I've lived in Sydney CBD but now I installed in Manly Vale. I'm here with a working holiday visa. 

Before starting this journey I'll lived in San Bernardo, which is a city a lot like this, only a bit smaller. I'll always felt connected with nature, and animals in particular. I've had cats and dogs since childhood and we always took care of them with my sisters. 

Animals take a significant part of the person I'm today. They taught me about paciente, responsibility, respect but most importantly love. That's why I think they'll always need for us to take care really well of them. 

We have 2 cats and 1 dog, which you can see in my photo gallery. Travel, was a rescue cat, found a real cold winter night several years ago. Kenia, her daughter, is a bit skittish and doesn't like photos, even though she'll always appears in the video calls. Lastly Cuba, our little white pom-pom. She's the pampered one.

I started sitting as a way to help some friends when travelling and not leaving their dogs and cats on their homes alone. But as the time progressed I realised that I really enjoy providing care and love for those little fellas. So I started sitting more regularly and adding other services, such as dog walking. 

I also did volunteering work with rescue puppies and older dogs. Helping them in finding responble families and being there for them until the moment when they found a home to go. 

As I said before, I'm currently living in Manly Vale, where I rent an apartment with my friend Sofi. Unfortunately it has a no animal policy so I won't be able to provide home sitting services in my own place but I'll be more than thrilled to stay with them in your home, the place where they feel more comfortable. 

The services that I offer are the next:

- Dog walking. Depending on the demand it can be up to two times a day. And depending on the dog needs (age, need for exercise, medical conditions) it could be for a 1/2, 1 or 2 hours walk. I always recommend to try different routes as a way to help dogs with anxiety and work their sense of smell.

- Home-visit: I'll visit for an hour, play with them, feed them and take them to do their necessities or clean their spaces.

- Day sitting: I'll stay with them for a stablished time frame. I feed them, play and clean their spaces.  

- House sitting: I'll stay at your house, for no more than 5 days. For those days I'll also take them for a walk two times a day. Depending on the agreement I'll could groom them too. 

Not to leave our precious cats behind, I can provide the same services too. If your cats take walks with leashs I'll be more than happy to walk them around.
