Ivy

Hello there!

My name is Ivy. I am a 25 year old traveler who is living in Melbourne for the next four months. I was born and raised in the United States and recently moved to Australia. Ever since I was a child, dogs have been a huge part of my life. Throughout my life I've had dogs of all shapes and sizes, all of them loved nearly and dearly. Since I am currently traveling, I am unable to adopt a dog of my own and would love nothing more than to fill that empty space by helping you care for yours.

I mainly offer walking and sitting services. No boarding, unfortunately, as I live in a no-pet complex. I am pet first-aid and CPR certified and am currently interested in training and grooming practice for future use. At the moment, I have a very open schedule -- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

I would be more than happy to stay with your pet for however long you need whether on a walk or a home visit and I can assure you, the safety and well-being of your pet and your home is my top priority. I will always bring water, snacks(any allergies or diet restrictions will always be put into consideration), and all necessary items with me as well as a first-aid kit.

I live in the Carlton neighborhood with plenty of small parks around the area to explore. I also live fairly close to the Yarra which is a lovely place to enjoy with a furry friend. With that being said, this is a pet-friendly neighborhood and there is always other dogs around if your pup likes to make friends!

Back in the US I temporarily worked as a dog walker on a site called Wag, along with volunteering at the local shelter. At this shelter, I would help walk the dogs around the street to help promote them for adoption. I would also dog sit for friends and family members frequently for days at a time. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and I can guarantee that your beloved pet is in great hands.
