Hello!

I'm nakayla (or just Kayla), I am a huge animal enthusiast and have grown up around many different animals for the past 20 years.
I was the child who when entering the house would be asked if I acquired an animal on my way.

From birth I was raised around dogs and horses due to a parent's business. This is where my love for animals began. Now I have 3 lovely snakes of my own currently and have handled pets of all types over the years. From little lizards and frogs all the way to horses.

I used to study bachelor of science majoring in animal biology and was perusing a pathway of animal rescue and rehabilitation. During this time of study I worked in the wildlife EcoCentre and took responsibility over the wellbeing and upkeep of all wildlife protected in the centre.

I was forced to take a break from study due to health but I'm hoping I can still give to the animal loving community and work my way back to the industry. I have such a big heart for our companions and want to provide the best care to all.

Outside of animals I am an athlete, I compete on a national level in cheerleading and am a committed member of my gym. I am also a huge bookworm and artist. I do love spending a good rainy day curled up (probably with a dog, cat or snake with me) reading or drawing.

I am available to visit your home and (fur/feather/scale)children and ensure they have everything they need and are thriving. I am happy to assist in some household tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, bringing things inside in case of weather. Depending on tasks and number of animals I'll stay for 30 minutes to an hour each check in.

I will happily take any and all dogs on a walk to keep them healthy and happy, I am a very active person so I promise I can keep up with even the most energetic of companions! I aim for at least half an hour for a walk, I will always listen to the dog if they need a break or want to go for more.

If you need time away or have commitments requiring your absence I am more them happy to care for your pets overnight (in your home). Acting similar to home visits just for longer and with more hands on nurturing!

If required I am comfortable administering medications to any pets required. I can work some basic training if desired.

I am a rather flexible person and always strive to do anything someone needs. I am generally available morning and evenings/nights. I'm a huge night owl so if you need a night out? I got you covered!
