I love dogs! To be expected given I am a dog sitter, however, I can genuinely say that doggos seem to complete our home. I have had dogs my entire life and since our beloved 10 year old Ridgeback passed away earlier this year, we have enjoyed caring for other people's pooches so that they can take a break knowing their dog is safe, loved and welcomed into a family home.

We have a large, fully fenced yard to explore with plenty of undercover shady spots for afternoon naps. If your dog is used to being indoors, that's totally fine with us, they're more than welcome to curl up on their mat and enjoy the aircon. We have two teenage kids at home, 14 and 18 - both adore dogs of all shapes and sizes.

If your dog loves a walk then we will happily oblige. There are two large parks close by for daily strolls and if your dog is beach savvy then we're more than happy to drive to nearby dog safe beaches for a run and a swim. Essentially, we'll care for your dog in the same way you do and in the way that your dog is accustomed, so by all means, give us a list of 'dos and don'ts' and we'll follow it to the letter. 

Typically, I take dogs for overnight stays (rather than day visits). I work Mon-Fri so if your dog is staying mid week, I'll pop in to check on them during lunch breaks but will be home by 5pm for their evening stroll and dinner. My kids are also home earlier for pats and play.

Special considerations - there are 12 steps to the backyard and four steps to the front yard. Also, given the proximity of neighbours, we can't take dogs that bark excessively. The usual level of responsive barking is totally ok.
