Hello there,
My name is Kylie and I am looking at becoming a cat/kitten sitter in our home.
I am 51 years of age, retired and have loved and homed cats all my life.
I wish to open our home up to offer a personalised service of pet sitting cats and kittens. I have owned a few cats over my lifetime and really enjoy their companionship and find it therapeutic taking care of them.
I am new to Pawshake and looking to earn some extra income doing something I enjoy and helping others.
We currently own four cats: two of them are females, both desexed and are outdoor cats; the other two are males, both desexed and are indoor cats. We have a front verandah area, which is enclosed in with wire mesh that is safe and secure. As well as a pet run, down to a secure cat enclosure in the back yard, for the cats to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
If you would prefer your cat/kitten not to socialise with my cats, that is okay - I can keep them separated and your fur baby can have a separate room with optional outdoor run.
I am at home most days and am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am happy to spend time interacting with your cat/kitten and entertaining them with playtime and also understand the importance of rest/sleep time for the cat/kitten.
I understand the priority of feeding your pet when required, will always have fresh water for them to access. Make sure the area where they are staying is kept clean , hygenic and tidy (ensure kitty litter trays are emptied regularly and extra trays made available for the number of cats/kittens staying with me). I can give any basic medications to your pet if you requested to do so and supply. I will keep you updated with a daily photo of your pet and alert you immediately of any concerns of their wellbeing.
