Hello all! I am a 25 year old American from Boston, Massachusetts. I am new to Sydney and miss having a furry friend by my side, but have been loving the dog culture around Bondi. My favorite spot has been McKenzie bay where I'll sit and watch the pups play for hours. I just found out about this app and couldn't imagine a better way to make some cash than being able to spend time with lovely animals. Walking and dogs are my two favorite things combined so this is a dream job in my eyes.

I understand how important animals are to their owners being that I grew up having dogs and cats. They are more than just your pet they are your family. I promise to treat your animal as the precious family member that they are. I have been around pups my whole life so I am super comfortable around dogs and have experience dealing with all types of breeds. I also have been lucky enough to be the sister of one of the most temperamental cats in the world growing up so I am ready to handle most felines :)

Back in the states I was a teacher for 3 years, proving my ability to be hardworking and reliable (also managing a classroom of children is much like managing a heard of wild animals so I'd say proven experience!) I would love to spend some time with your furry friend!

Dog walking: I love to walk so I am willing walk as long as your pup needs! I am hoping to fill my free time up with dog walks as much as possible. This can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on what you are looking for! I can offer up to 3 dog walks a day and prefer to limit the walk to one dog at a time but can make exceptions for the right situation. My route is up the Bondi strip and continuing on from the Bondi to Bronte walk. How far I'll go down the path is all dependent on your dog's walking abilities and what you want for them!

Doggy boarding/ doggy daycare: My flat is on the smaller side so it best is suited for smaller pups or even tempered dogs. That also means that it is best to only watch one dog at a time but in rare cases I will be willing to have two smaller dogs stay with me. I live right on a grassy hill over looking the beach so your dog will have lots of outdoor space to explore. I also live in a fenced in area so the pup can run around the driveway off leash. I share the flat with an animal loving woman and her animal loving daughter who both would be over the moon to have a furry overnight visitor. This means the pup will have to be good with children as the doggo will be showered in lots of love by all 3 of us. I can guarantee your pup will never be alone for more than 2 hours although it is rare that the pup would ever be unsupervised at all. The pet will be sleeping with me in my room and whatever the pup is used to is okay with me (in my bed, a doggy bed, or a crate).

Home visits/ house sitting: Let me know if your expectations and I will be willing to do it! Clean the litter box, bring in the mail, engage in play with the animals, take them outside, clean the cage, administer medication- all can and will be done. I will treat your home as if it's my own (or even better). All safety and security measures given will be throughly executed and I will always strive to leave the place better than I found it.

My schedule and availability: I work part time with an alternating schedule so I will be doing my best to stay up to date with my availability. Walks and home visits can be done on my days off or before my shifts. Doggy daycare and doggy boarding will be offered only on my days off so I can make sure to give your pup my undivided attention.
