Hello! My name is Jordan and I am 26 years old and from New Jersey, USA. I love animals, art and being outdoors. I graduated art school in 2020 and do freelance on the side to support my love of travel.

My partner has both American and Australian citizenship and after visiting his family we decided to live here and explore more of this beautiful country! I am currently on a Work and Holiday visa till February.

I have been taking care of animals since I can remember! The past 3 years I have been using the American pet sitting app Rover, which is very similar to Pawshake. It has given me a great amount of experience caring for all ages and types of dogs. (If you looks at my photo gallery there are screenshots of reviews I've been given) Since being in Australia my partner and I have also been using the app Trusted House Sitters where we also have positive reviews.

Even when I was little my parents were strict on that we had to take care of our pets properly, not just let them out the backyard. Since I was in middle school I’ve walked neighbors dogs and house sat and have continued to because working with animals is the best customer service gig.

Seeing as I am a freelance artist my hours are quite flexible. I have experience with elderly and injured dogs and those who need medication. For home visits I typically like to hang with the animal for at least 1-3 hours depending on the situation and what the dog and owner are most comfortable with. Happy to take in the mail and water plants as well! I generally like to take dogs on 30 minute walks and if they are really rambunctious make sure we get all the zoomies out after with a game of fetch or tug of war.

Until I can have some fur babies of my own one day pawshake just seems like the perfect fit :)
