Barkingham Palace 🐶 will offer your fur-baby a home away from home. Our property is fully fenced.
Services provided are daily walks to the local parks that can be off leash. I'm happy to administer oral medication and ear drops as necessary.
Our family dogs Charlie and Theo love a good furry friend sleepover and a chance to play. They are great with all dogs and are happy to share their beds and show your fur-baby the best spots to sleep in the sun 🤣
We are a family of three with my partner Mat and son (19) Great Eastern suburbs location. I work from home a minimum 2 days a week so your fur-baby won't feel lonely and will be made to feel part of our family. I am available weekdays, weekends and school holidays.
Please note I provide overnight stays. You just need to provide a bed/crate and blanket as well as their daily food. I'll take care of the rest.

Kovu and Astro had the best time at Dales place! They were constantly surrounded by love from other dogs and humans and we loved getting all the picture updates while we were away. They’re already booked in for their next staycation with Dale :)
We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy!
