About Dayna
Hey there! I'm Dayna, a passionate pet sitter in my 20s driven by a lifelong love for animals. With three years of experience, I provide personalised care tailored to each pet's needs, ensuring their well-being and your peace of mind. Contact me to discuss your pet-sitting needs!
Services:
- Walking: anywhere from 15 mins to an hour, can walk with 2 dogs, offering 3 different dog walks a day)
- Playing: please pack some of your dogs favourite toys! I live next to a fenced dog park and a large oval area.
- Medication: administering certain medications (tablets, liquid)
- I will ensure I frequently provide them time to use the bathroom when needed.
- I work from home so your furry friend can stay with me all day! This means I can supervise them throughout and provide lots of love and affection. Times can range from 6:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday. Weekend times will vary. Please check availability.
- I live on my own and currently do not have any pets but my apartment building is animal friendly. I have a secure balcony which is displayed in my photo gallery and aim to take your pets out for a walk/play 3 times a day.
- Photos! I can send updates to your preferred contact method during the day. If you'd like 1 or 10! However I can assure your pet will be most cared for I can accommodate!
Home visits:
- As I work from home I can work at your place anywhere from 6:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday. Weekends will vary. I can do general housekeeping such as bringing in the mail/parcels, water plants, clean dishes and hang out washing if needed.
- I can walk your pets around the neighbourhood or the nearest park and beach
- If your pets are on a strict diet please leave instructions that I can adhere to
Sitter expectations:
- Please disclose any behvioural issues your pet might be facing, medical needs with clear dosage requirements, please supply enough pet food and emergency contact details for yourself and your chosen vet.
Expectations from me:
- Providing shade inside and on my balcony, a cool place with my aircon during hotter days
- My place is a safe environment for your pets. Nothing available at level to ingest mistakenly or injure themselves
- At a minimum 1 hour of exercise (walk, play)
For the well-being of all pets under my care, I require up-to-date vaccinations. This policy ensures a safe and harmonious environment for all.

Dayna was fabulous for my one year old Whippet Frankie. Her profile pic shows a real love of animals and that was confirmed when we met. She is so loving, kind and fun, taking Frankie on plenty of walks & outings. She also sent daily pics which was awesome. I felt Frankie was completely safe and well cared for in Dayna's hands and would highly recommend her, and will be rebooking if I go away again.
