Huge lover of all animals especially of the canine kind.
Been working in animal rescue for over 28 years, even running my own rescue group for several of those years. Last rescue group I volunteered with was the RSPCA in Darwin. Recently relocated from Darwin to Brisbane.
Have a huge knowledge of basic veterinary care as I studied a veterinary nurse course 10 years ago and have dealt with several minor and major medical issues in my rescuing career. Huge knowledge of medications as well as a massive knowledge of good pet nutrition. I will ensure all medications are administered if needed. I understand how difficult it is to be away from our pets so we will make sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe whilst you enjoy your holiday or time away.
Your loved one will be in the very best of care and loved like our own. All dogs are welcome inside my home as my home will be their home when visiting. If your dog has special needs, is of age or a puppy, they will be loved and cared for like all the others and our own dog Chanel. I have a fully fenced backyard and your pet is always welcome inside. I will go for walks with them and keep them occupied with a selection of toys and activities. Their needs come first with lots of cuddles!
We have a 3 year toddler at home as well as a 2 year old Cavalier named Chanel. Both are animal lovers and very resilient to any dog breed or age.

Our 2 mini poodles stayed with Nareena for 3 nights, we were a little anxious to leave Gus as he is only 5 months old but we couldn’t be happier with our choice in pet sitter. Nareena had excellent communication prior to the stay, and our home visit went well. She assured us any accidents in the house with Gus was fine, and expected. Communication was excellent while we were away, lots of photos of what the dogs were up to. When we picked them up the dogs were not anxious at all and were just happy dogs. Great peace of mind, highly recommend Nareena to look after our boys 😀
