Kiara

Hi guys, 

My name is Kiara (she/her) and I am an animal lover looking for some idle work and exercise while I look for a job. I love spending time with all animals, being outdoors and playing with furry friends. I've been casually pet sitting/walking for years now for friends, family and neighbours and thought I'd take the opportunity to explore my community. 

I grew up on a horse farm and have always been surrounded by animals, so I'm not afraid to get dirty and do the jobs needed to keep our pets happy and healthy. If there's anything you need help with just ask, and I'm more than happy to be flexible and work to your schedule currently. 

I will only take pets outside if they are vaccinated, I don't want your friend getting sick. Please let me know if your pet is unvaccinated (cats and dogs mostly) so I can make sure I clean myself before visiting another pet to prevent contraction. I am fully vaccinated against COVID.

Please let me know of any behavioural or training issues ahead of time so I can be as responsible as I can be (not friendly to other pets/kids or not potty trained for example). 

Be mindful that I cannot drive, so I cannot get to locations far from myself or public transport and in the event of an emergency I will take an uber to nearest vet/hospital (or one of your choosing)

What I do:

~ Walking (30ish mins, depending on route)
**Giant and large dogs that pull on lead will have to be one at a time as I'm a small person, but
smaller and well behaved dogs can be as many as I can safely manoeuvre
** Will not walk in extreme weather or heat as the ground is too hot for their paws.
** Will not walk dogs on dangerous leads, collars (choke, damaged or painful)

~ Pet/House sitting (including 1x walk, watering plants, bins and poop duty)
** Will not stay overnight in house if others are there, for safety and comfort. 

~ Pet Checks (Include play, food, poop duty and short walk)
