Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am a reliable and caring animal lover who would love to give your pets some extra love and attention when you get a bit too busy. A house visit consists of me coming to your pets' home and feeding them, giving them fresh water, cleaning up their toilet business, administering any medication you may have them on, playing with them and giving them lots of cuddles. While I am there I can also bring in your mail, and water your houseplants if needed. A house visit typically takes 30 minutes but we can discuss any additional needs you may have. While I am there I can also take them for a walk for an additional fee. A dogwalk is typically 20-30mins (this is what most people ask for) however if your dog requires a longer walk I am more than happy to arrange this with you as well. I am available for house visiting & dog walking services most afternoons/early evenings and some mornings. I currently have two cats of my own who I adore, and I volunteer for a local dog rescue group as well as doing dog walking and pet visits. I have been involved with dog rescue and foster care for over 10 years and am comfortable with all kinds of pet personalities. My priority is making them feel comfortable and safe.

You can count on me having great communication with you, getting back to you quickly, and keeping you in the loop with how everything is going. I am happy to send as many photos and updates about your loved ones as you like - I understand what it's like to worry about our loved ones when you're away. I have my police check document, blue card, full drivers license, and am a Cairns local of over 6 years. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and see if we would be a great fit for each other. Looking forward to hearing from you.

"I have known Cassandra now for over 4 years since moving to Cairns. In that time she has pet sat for me many times when I have been away. My pet is Tilly, a Staffy cross Kelpie and I have also had a kelpie and 3 cats that she has helped with in this time. Other than the usual feed and water change, Cass has been great at keeping up with daily walks and plays, looking after the house, with a very happy pet to come home to. She is amazing with animals, she also does foster care at times for pets in between their shelter stays and transport to their new homes. Her son Kaimar is also super helpful in the process of helping with the animals and has an amazing energy to keep up with the bounciest of dogs, or wind down for a sleepy couch cuddle with the cats. There is always photo and video updates of the adventures the pets have had and that’s super important to me and my kids when we’re away to know that Tilly is having a ball and probably not even missing us that much because she’s well distracted !
