Hi, I'm Denise and I offer dog boarding in my home; short or long term. Your dog will get awesome individual care and attention - a home away from home. 

I also offer day visits (within 10km of Westminster) .... great options if you need temporary care for a senior or convalescing pet; pups and kittens who need checking up on etc.

I've grown up with dogs and had my own gorgeous Labrador for 13yrs. Abby was my soul dog and a big part of my family, as all pets in my life have been. I have always trained them well and they know their boundaries....and they are loved!

My Abby got her wings in December 2020 and I won't be adopting another furbaby, for a few different reasons. I love home boarding other people's pets, as I treat them as my own and I get to enjoy doggy company for a little while.

I'm loving meeting different breeds and personalities. I love it even more when they come back to see their Auntie Denise ...... nothing beats a happy dog, running down my driveway to greet me :-)

MY WORLD FOR YOUR PET:
I'm at home most of the day, so your pet will be with me a lot during their stay. I will keep them to their normal routine (as much as I can) ... helping them have a stress free stay. They will receive great care and personal attention. I am a photographer, so there will be a few pro happy snaps during your pet's stay.

PET AND CHILD FREE HOME:
Medium size garden - great for playtime or chilling
High fencing and well locked gate
Exercised in my garden, if we can't go out walking

BEHAVIOUR:
All potential boarders are assessed individually. I don't board dogs with aggression issues, who are avid diggers in the garden, chronic barkers or are escape artists. They must have a good temperment, balance and social with other dogs.

Your pet must be toilet trained and able to be left alone (inside) for two hours minimum. It's lovely to take dogs out for a walk or cafe run, but I'm happy with a home body as well.

WHERE WILL YOUR PET SLEEP?
In their own bed or crate. If they are a calm, happy dog, then with your permission, I will allow them on my bed.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING WITH YOUR PET?
Recently bathed pooch.
Proof of current vaccination.
Their toys and bed from home, plus any special blankie they like (clean)
Emergency contact info - family/friend and vet

FOOD: bring enough food (with two days extra) and treats for their stay. I'll follow their feeding routine, as instructed. I'm happy to chop and cook. I have bowls for food and water, various sizes to suit different dogs, so you're welcome to leave theirs at home.

MEDICATIONS:
I'm happy to administer whatever meds they're taking. I'm very inventive when giving medication in food, but the pill straight down the throat, well, my pets have always won that game. Drops and creams are no problem.

EXERCISE

All my guests are taken out for a walk, Dog Weather permitting. Happy to discuss and assess your dog's exercise needs and see if we are suited. I won't be the best boarder for extremely high energy or strong dogs, who need long daily hikes or have poor lead training.

DOGS FROM DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLDS, BOARDING TOGETHER:
I have four small, regular guests (balanced and socialised) who can be boarded at the same time with another small to mid size dog. If the dates you're after are available, but show a space is already taken, then this will be one of my socialites booked in. If your dog is a similar personality, then please message me and we can discuss further.
