Hi, I would love to care for your dog &/or cat in the comfort of their own home.
Have lots of experience and success with fearful/ anxious/ hyper animals & continue learning about the latest science of best practice in animal care, such as:
cortisol (stress hormone) can remain present up to 72 hrs after event.
This fact can help plan events around pet to reduce stress and avoid trigger stacking,
e.g. when going away, don't take pet to vets the day before departure.

Have love and respect of all animals having been raised on acreage with horses, sheep, ducks, dogs and cats. We would often welcome the strays to join the family. I've volunteered at the RSPCA, DAS, numerous animal rescues as well as rehabilating cats and dogs. They are now my focus and I have studied extensively to understand how best to bring out the best in them.

Cats: Home visits. Would love to care for your feline/s and on each visit will ensure they have fresh water, clean litter trays, well fed and have quality time on their terms. Will also water plants and look after any other requirements. Will send daily updates & photos.

Home visit - $30: 30 mins / $40: 60 mins

Dogs: Walking around their neighbourhood, providing stimulating adventures that can include: nose work / enrichment/ training/ and urban agility which is fantastic in building confidence for the reserved & fearful pups. If dogs need brushing, can do as there's a correct & incorrect way to use a slicker brush.

Dog Walk - $40: 60mins

My focus is to enrich the lives of the animals we share our homes with by understanding what their behaviours reveal. Cats and dogs will 'act out' when under stress which can be due to a number of factors and can include simple things: where does pet sleep; how many fresh water bowls are available. They will often show behaviours that most people are unaware are signs of stress. This can include: hyper activity; inappropriate toileting; aggression; incessant barking; extinguished behaviours that return. Can also address fear phobias and concerning reactivity. My practical and theoretical knowledge has informed an holistic approach to helping you and your animal overcome the stress. Can recommend how to have a cat friendly purrfect home to satisfy cats needs and welfare.
The consultation involves 2 hour home visit listening to your concerns and assessing the dogs/ cat behaviour. We will create a practical action plan to work towards resolving the issue. If required, ongoing contact to ensure success. $100 all inclusive
