What is my availability? I am flexible, and can usually fit you in. Will I be home with the dogs all the time? Most of the time, normally I only go out for 30-90 mins, or not at all. What is my home like: 4 bedroom house, with deck. 50m x 15m garden (see photos)

Who else lives in my household? One human guest, one male border collie, and my young daugter who loves dogs.

Where are the guest pets allowed to sleep? On the deck if it's hot and they want to, otherwise any of the living space indoors, including my bedroom of my collie agrees

I am a dog lover, and have kept poodles and border collies for 25 years. I speak ‘dog’ – that is am good at reading dog’s sounds, looks, and stances to know what they need. I was a professional groomer (washing and clipping) for about 2 years – and never got bitten! (A lot of dogs find bath-time a bit stressful, clipping more so. – you have to be good with dogs to earn their trust – and not abuse it). I’ve also worked my own dogs in obedience and agility – just for fun, not at the serious competitive level. I won't excercise your dog off-leash unless your dog and I have established enough of an understanding to know your dog will come when called. This can’t usually be guaranteed with someone they don’t know well, so only applies to dogs that I have looked after for an extended period, or several repeat bookings.
