Both my wife and I are dog lovers. We get excited to see every new pup we meet.
I've spent time with a variety of dogs, a few months of those working as a volunteer at the AWLQ.
We believe that dogs are the most lovable beings around us and they need to be loved and nurtured.
We understand that sometimes you need to go away and can't take them and it's hard to find someone to rely upon to take care of them. We're here to help you through those times as much as we can.
Here's what your dogs will get:
1. A large area to run around indoor and outdoor (through a mid-size doggie door) in the backyard - all outdoor areas are fully fenced.
2. A large front yard (fully fenced) where we all come together to play so they can play fetch with us or play with each other under our supervision - we come out here a couple of times in the afternoon for play sessions.
3. A morning walk, generally 30-40 mins around the block. Please make sure to leave your dog's harness and leash with us so we can walk them.
4. Socialisation, we always have our 2 dogs, and we sit a maximum of 2 dogs at a time to make sure we can give them attention.
5. Safe and clean home - we try to keep most small objects at the counter or table level or inside closets so the dogs can't get to them. They will have access to water and cool, shady areas both indoor and outdoor.
6. Cosy blankets for sleeping - the dogs generally sleep indoors in our bedroom or living area. If you have different preferences for your stuff, please let us know and we will try to accommodate them.
Here's what you will get:
1. Peace of mind - you can go, be yourself, we got your back with your doggos.
2. At least one recent photo of your dogs every day they are here with us.
3. Knowledge that things happen at times outside what we foresee, so, in case of an emergency, we'll take them to an emergency pet hospital or vet.
Please note:
There are a few things we desire in the dogs that live with us and that you understand:
1. They shouldn't be aggressive towards humans or other dogs.
2. We prefer them to be potty trained.
3. It's best if they understand a few beginner commands like come and stay.
4. At times when we go out to do our chores for a couple of hours, we make sure there's plenty of water for all the dogs to relax, access to shade areas, and clean water.
5. Our dogs love to meet new friends who visit us every now and then. They love running around in the yard after each other, sniffing everything around.
6. When you bring your dog to meet us or to drop it off, please be prepared for our dogs to meet them and settle down after the initial excitement of meeting each other - this is generally 10 - 20 mins.
7. We're happy to feed them, we request you to provide us with their food and tell us about their eating habits along with the details of the feeding times.
8. If your dog needs oral medication, please provide us enough doses and give us the medication schedule. Plus, make sure the medication is labelled.
9. Carrots, Apples, and Cucumbers are our treats of choice for all the doggos. Sometimes, just a spoonful of unsweetened peanut butter to lick through. We're happy to tailor the treat choices depending on your pup's needs.
10. We are Techies at heart and lead busy lives, working from home on weekdays, sometimes one of us goes to the office so at least one of us is at home everyday.
11. Dogs are territorial, quite protective of their pack and home, we've recently seen that with our dogs.
We live on a cul-de-sac and ours is the 2nd house, there's a park right outside the street.
When bringing your dogs for meet and greet or for leaving them with us, we request to bring them to the park and we'll bring our dogs there as well. It gives them the best chance to meet in a friendly way, otherwise, they see the new dogs as intruders.
We'll give ours a walk right before so they have calmed down from the excitement of getting out of their home.
We can then walk home together once they have all met each other and seem settled.
We love these little ones and we keep them comfortable and always make time to look after them. We will keep your little ones safe and comfortable.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
