I am a passionate animal lover and have dedicated my life to animal welfare and education. My education history includes a Bachelor of Animal Ecology along with a Cert VI in Government Investigations focusing on animal welfare. I have completed placements at the RSPCA, Australia Zoo and Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge Centre. Alongside this I have undertaken behavioural analysis on primates at Wildlife HQ and also spent 6 weeks in Cambodia working on sun bear conservation.
My current role is Assistant Hospital Coordinator for a large Veterinary Hospital in Brisbane. We handle both small animals (cats, dogs, small mammals) and large animals (horses, cattle). Within my role I manage all aspects of a busy 24/7 veterinary hospital.
I grew up in NZ with pet sheep, goats, dogs, cats, birds + fish, my best friend had multiple stables so I was riding horses most weekends when I wasn't rescuing stray animals.
My partner of 7 years is an electrician currently studying a second trade. We love listening to records, hanging out with our friends and playing pool. We are currently saving to buy our own property at the end of next year.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from both having the experience around animal health, knowing how to triage animals and most importantly be surrounded by the beautiful animals of Brisbane

Sali was very pleasant to deal with and our cats seemed happy when we came home.
Sali took excellent care of our cat while we were overseas. She provided daily updates/photos and ensured our cat had everything she needed.
