Hi I'm Lacey! I have worked with dogs and cats for almost 15 years as a kennel hand, then veterinary nurse, and more recently as a behaviour and training assistant. Last year I moved back to Australia from the USA after a decade and am now starting my own business as a pet carer! Each pet has their own quirks and needs and it's always a pleasure to get to know these perfect little weirdos.
My standard dog walks are 30 minutes but hour-long sessions can be booked as a double. I recommend this for athletic and working breeds.
I am also happy to work with you as a trainer and I offer behaviour assessments to help you understand any issues you're having and how to work on the unwanted behaviours.
For pet home visits I spend 30 minutes in the home for feeding, watering, litter scooping/toileting, playtime, etc. I am also happy to add in any additional tasks such as medication administration, or grooming.
I am a positive reinforcement trained vet nurse. This means I use encouragement and reward, rather than punishment or pressure to communicate with the animal. While living in America I completed my Low Stress Handling, and Fear Free Professional certifications. I am experienced in dealing with behaviour issues as well as disabled or injured pets, puppies/kittens, and senior pets.
We want a fun experience for them from start to finish and I tailor my care to the pet to ensure this is the case.
I truly love my work and I can't wait to meet you and your furry family!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.

Lacey is incredible. She asked lots of questions to get a full understanding about my dog & his needs. She’s pleasant, communicates well & you can tell she just loves taking care of animals. Thank you Lacey!! Will absolutely be using her services again.
Lacey has been great with our two Frenchies, one of which is a rescue and needs some special attention. She’s very understanding of his needs and gives very good updates and feedback about visits and walks.
