About Laura
Hi, I am Laura. I'm 23 years old and recently graduated with a psychology degree. I'm originally from the UK and I still wanted to travel and experience working abroad instead of staying in the UK and going straight into a company to work. I've always wanted to visit Australia and I don't have any commitments like children so I thought why not experiencing more of the world and move over here! I love travelling, meeting new people, experience different cultures and Australia has been unbelieveably beautiful and everyone has been so welcoming and kind.
I am currently working here as an Au pair where I am looking after 2 young boys and I'm loving it. I love children and hope to maybe work in the foster care system one day to help those in need. In my spare time I love being active, going to the gym, going for hikes, exploring different areas and filling my time socialing and doing fun activities like rock climbing, doing art workshops, visitng markets etc.
In my free time I would love to be able to fill my spare time looking after pets and walking dogs because they bring so much joy to me and what better way to spend my free time than by playing with animals! My family have a shih tzu back in the UK that my parents adopted during lockdown and I love him and miss him so much so I want to be able to spend more time with animals out here to fill that void.
I love going for walks and being out in nature so it would be great to be able to incorporate a lovely dog to walk with and accompany me. I want to make it easier for pet owners to enjoy their free time to do what they want and travel without having the stress of not knowing what will happen to their pets! We all love our pets and want the best for them and sometimes there are places you want to go that unfortunately don't accept pets so it's nice to have someone you know you can trust to look after your pet well and I hope to be the person for that.
I really hope you consider me to house sit your pet or walk them because I would love to have more animal love in my life!
