About Barbara
My name is Barbara. I am 25 and moved to Melbourne in July 2022. I would love to get to meet some new pets and help out where is needed.
I have always loved animals and interacting with them. Back home in Ireland we have a 7 year old golden retriever and I loved to walk and play with her. We lived near the beach so I would bring her down to go for a swim. Sadly I had to leave her with the family when I came over and I miss her a lot, she is like a family member.
I would be able to offer a range of help, such as but not limited to, walking, washing, minding, and playing with pets. I am outgoing and friendly and also love to meet new people. I like to keep active and be outdoors but am also happy to sit inside on rainy days. We are a short walk from a big park and have a small outdoor area in our home.
I work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm (work from home Monday, Tuesday and Friday) and I am happy to assist in the evenings and weekends. I'm living in Sandringham and am close to transport(trains and trams).

Barbara looked after my 7 y.o lab for a night at her place. I know Silky received lots of love, attention and exercise by not only the lovely updates and photos, but by her slow motion, tired greeting that I received on pick up! 😄 Silky stood right next to Barbara, looked up at her and wagged her tail when I walked in. Seems as though she didn’t want to come home!

Barbara was amazing with our dog, cat and guinea pigs, and was always responsive. 10/10 would definitely work with her again!
