Hi, I'm Lauren! I've never met a dog that I haven't loved. And I think it's fair to say that 9 times out of 10 that love is reciprocated...unless its a beagle on a scent. Then I have no hope of getting any attention. I have spent most of my life having or being around dogs. My recent relocation to Hendra means that there is a pretty big dog-shaped hole in my life.

I currently work part-time from home, which means if you live locally to Hendra I can be super flexible. I can do checks on your furbaby throughout the day, or spend the full day with them if required. I can walk them morning, midday and afternoon/evenings. I would prefer to look after them or house-sit at your place, where they are most comfortable too - but can be accommodating under the right circumstances. I can do multiple small walks (15-20mins), or one or two longer (30-60mins) walks throughout the day. I am more than happy to do what is best suited to you and your dog!

In terms of my experience of dog sitting and/or walking, I don't remember a time when I didn't obsess over dogs. Growing up, there were always dogs around. We had 2 dogs of our own growing up, and from there I was very proactive in going for the twice-daily walk. It is something I have tried to maintain with any dog available to me! I have house-sat and dog-minded for family friends, neighbours and colleagues over the years. I also used the UK's version of this app (borrow my doggy) to walk many dogs throughout my time living in London.

I will always treat your dog as if it were my own. I am very reliable and trustworthy and would do everything to make sure your dog has an enjoyable and safe time in my care. I would expect your dog to be well behaved on the leash, friendly enough with other dogs/people, and reasonable at basic commands (coming when called especially). More than happy to go for a walk together for our first meeting, just to make sure all of us are happy and comfortable with the arrangement!
