Hey there, my name is Brooke, I’m full time employed as a journalist in Sydney.

I’ve owned animals my whole life - I grew up on a farm in rural WA and had chickens, horses, and a pet poodle, Annabelle.

She sadly passed before I moved to Sydney mid 2017, but I took up walking, sitting and running people's dogs to fill the void. I've recently welcomed a beautiful toy poodle, Scally, into my life and it’s changed for the better in a million ways!!

Scally and I live on our own in a large flat in Kensington, Sydney, close to Centennial Park, Moore Park and Kensington Oval. We are looking forward to hosting/walking lots of pooches and smothering them in love and pats!

I'm currently working from home however any pooches that come to stay would need to be well socialised and get along with Scally. He's a happy and friendly boy but very fragile at just 2.5kg, so smaller breeds suit us best.

Scally and I get out for a walk and play once daily, this is enough for his little legs. We would normally be out of the house for between 40mins and 1.5hrs. We sometimes travel in the car to get to Centennial Park or Rose Bay Dog Beach. if you're comfortable with travelling by car, I would ask you provide a suitable restraint. Scally also has the freedom to run in and out of the house at his leisure as we've got a little dog fence to keep him from running away. The front door stays open when I'm home, allowing the little one to bake in the sun or relieve himself whenever he needs to. We're in a long studio so I always have a view of what's going on.

If your pooch comes to stay, they will be walked, fed and pampered, and taken to the dog park for a play with Scally. You will just need to provide food for their stay and a bed for them to sleep on. Scally has a ramp up to the bed & sleeps wherever he likes - any pooch that stays would have the same freedom.

We don’t have a yard, but our indoor space is large and filled with fun things to play with.

I'll be working from home throughout the holiday season, so your pet would be well supervised.
