Hi, my name is Katy. I work full time in health IT and part time as an artist. I work 4 days from home and one day in the office. I live in a pet friendly two bedroom apartment in Petersham (Inner West Sydney) with my partner Max who works as a Biomedical Engineer. Our apartment has a medium sized fully secured balcony and dogs we have previously looked after like to sunbathe here in the morning. Your dog will be allowed to roam freely in our apartment and pick their preferred sleeping spot (living room, bedroom, couch or spare room). Our apartment block also has a communal garden (also doggy toilet) and is walking distance to local parks including dog parks. As there are plenty of other dogs in the building, it would most likely not suit a reactive dog.  

We don't have a dog of our own (yet) but would love to look after yours while you're away. We have both grown up with medium to large sized dogs (labrador, kelpie cross, staffy cross) and have experience dog sitting a range of different breeds and special requirements. We are comfortable with small, medium or large dogs as long as they are toilet trained. We are quite active and on weekends, we like to go on a hike or a walk, go to the beach, go kayaking/standup paddle boarding and will be sure to take your dog with us on these adventures while they are in our care. 

We offer 2 services and only take a single booking at a time so your dog will be the only dog in our care and will have our full attention during their stay. Services:
1. Dog boarding (Staying overnight or with us for up to 3 weeks)
Let us spoil your dog while you're away. They will be treated to at least 3 walks each day, two shorter ones (10-15mins) in the morning and during the day and a longer one (30-60mins) in the evening plus additional toilet breaks as needed. We live walking distance to Petersham park, a local dog park where your dog will meet lots of friends and have a run around. If you have a more active dog, we can also take them on runs or walks along the bay run in Drummoyne. They will always have someone home or with them and won't be left alone for more than 2 hours. We are happy to administer medication and have experience with administering oral medication and eye drops.

2. Doggy daycare (Care for up to 12 hours from morning until evening, no overnight stay)
If your dog has separation anxiety or would like someone to keep them company during the day, let us look after them for you! They will always have someone with them and won't be left alone, they will be treated to 3 walks a day (15-60mins) with lots of cuddles and playtime inbetween.

For both services, we ask that you please provide all the necessary food and equipment for your dog. This includes food, treats, medication (if applicable), bed, toys, lead, poo bags.
