About me

I'm from Scotland and I've been in Adelaide for around twelve years. I love animals and live with one dog and two cats.

Services

I am available for home visits to feed, play with and care for your pets while you're away. I'm happy to water plants, bring in mail and discuss any other requests you might have. Unfortunately I'm not able to walk dogs at the moment.

I work full-time Monday to Friday so I'm generally available anytime over the weekends or before 8am and after 6pm on weekdays. I may be available during lunch times if I'm working from home.

My experience

I love cats and have two young cats Fergus and Monkey who are very cheeky and  entertaining. They were living in the carpark at my work and were supposed to be a short-term foster placement but turned into a foster fail since they can be a little shy with new people.

My dog Scrappy is blind and has back problems and arthritis so I'm comfortable working with older or disabled dogs. I also had a 12 year old black labrador named Jett who passed away recently. He was good-natured, fun and full of energy so I'm comfortable working with boisterous or younger dogs as well. 

I volunteered at the AWL as a dog walker for around 7 years so I have a lot of experience with different types of dogs and a good understanding of animal body language and behaviour. I'm mindful of animals' different personalities and needs and happy to adapt visits as required.
