Hi my name is Abbey & I would love to be your specialised cat sitter. I am 31 years old, married & an Australian Citizen. I have had cats my entire life, which has included very old cats with medical conditions. All of the cats I have ever owned have been rescue cats, so I am familiar with all the personality quirks that come along with rescue cats. I have looked after dogs of friends & family as well, including living with dogs from my sharehousing days. However as I have only ever owned cats & have a deep love and connection with cats, I have chosen to make my service a specialised service for cat owners who are really looking for that cat-person who they know will love and care for their cat.
Not only have I cared for my own cats but I have had much experience over the years minding cats of friends and family whilst on Vacation. I have cared for people’s cats who required daily tablets & am able to administer tablets to cats. The medical conditions of cats I have cared for include diabetes, hypothyroidism, kidney disease & anxiety. I currently have a 4 year old cat named Raphael who I love dearly. Previous to Raff I had a cat named Katisis who I got when I was 3 years old and nursed her until she passed away at 22 years old. For the last few years of her life she had several age related issues and I administered tablets to her daily.
I will visit your house once a day, feed your cat(s), replenish water, check/replace kitty litter as necessary, play with them & give them some cuddles. I am happy to take photos and send to you, to keep you updated & for peace of mind.
I live in the North & work Monday to Friday in the East, and I drive, so kitty drop ins in the northern & eastern suburbs are easy. If your cat has any special needs such as medication, you can trust that I am the best person for the job. Furthermore, if you have plants to be watered or anything specific you would like me to do whilst you are away, please feel free to ask.

Abbey took wonderful care of our two shy cats who took a day or two to come out of their shell! But she made them feel very comfortable and made sure all their needs were met while we were away and kept us updated the whole time. We are so grateful!
Could recommend abbey enough, she sends plenty of updates, goes the extra mile with putting bins out and tidying the house! She is exceptionally conscientious and highly professional! My cat is normally a highly picky girl but through the updates she really looked like she warmed up to abbey, which is all I want!
