Hello, we are husband and wife duo, Tayla and Liam. Since getting married in 2022, we have enjoyed pet sitting together. I love love LOVE animals, especially dogs!! I have chosen to become a Pawshake Sitter/Walker so I can share my passion for animals with those who are needing pet services. Liam will join me in my pet sitting adventures.
I have had dogs in my family my whole life and have vast experience looking after dogs. My family's dog, Darcy, is a miniature bull terrier and is very energetic and hyper. I have walked and looked after him for over 8 years. I have done lots of pet sitting and dog walking over the years and feel I would be a very capable and hard working pet sitter for your pet. Pets I have looked after are cats, dogs, birds, goats, chickens and lizards... we are pretty much open to anything! I have looked after all sorts of breeds of dogs, big and small, such as bull terriers, staffies, greyhounds, jack russels and more (see photo gallery).
A pet booked in with us will experience a safe and cosy environment.
We will make the experience as normal as possible for your fur baby, so they feel comfortable at all times. We love the outdoors and am always up for walks and adventure!
My services include:
PET SITTING (at the pet's home)
- I am happy to take dogs for walks while pet sitting for you.
- I can administer oral medication, and am happy to continue any dog training you have started. However, please note I am not a professional dog trainer.
- I am able to care for 2 dogs at a time, and 3 pets maximum for any house sit.
- I am a uni student & Liam works full time, so we cannot guarantee 24/7 supervision.
- We prefer pets to sleep outside of the bedroom and definitely not in bed with us. Thank you.
DOGGY DAY CARE (at pet's home)
DOG WALKING
- Walks vary from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the dog's needs.
- I live in Pakenham and have lots of walking tracks around me, such as the Toomuc Creek Reserve and Aqueduct Trail).
- I can walk 2 dogs at a time where requested.
HOME VISITS (to feed and walk your pets and water plants while you are away)

Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.

I was anxious about leaving my dogs and they put my mind at rest after meeting them. They sent me updates and photos on how the dogs were doing, which was great.
My dogs were looked after really well as was my house.
I definitely recommend them and will book again should I need a pet sitter again.
We were very happy with Taylor and Liam's housesitting and certainly confident to book them again. The animals were well looked after and no doubt spoilt! We have dogs, a cat, chooks and sheep. They also watered the plants 😊 Highly recommend. Thanks guys!
