Hello Pet Owners!
My name is Jess and I'm a PhD researcher at UWA. I live in North Fremantle and love going for walks and spending time at the beach with friends and family. I don't live with my family but we own two dogs (one very large Staghound/German wired hair pointer and one very small Maltese Shih Tzu and a cat. My housemates also own a Red Healer and my extended family have mixed breed dogs, German Sheppards and Ridgebacks, so I've got experience and love for all breeds big and small.
I'm a caring pet owner myself and have been for most of my life and know how much of a struggle it can be while going away and needing someone to look after your pets. That is my main motivation to become a pet sitter. Unfortunately with the house I'm currently renting I'm unable to look after additional pets in the house. I have house-sat on numerous occasions for family friends and the like and can provide a reference. If just visiting, walking, feeding and spending time with the animals is enough then I am more than happy to do that.

I am a certified venemous reptile handler therefore reptiles I am also comfortable with. I am more than happy to groom those extra hairy dogs (or cats!) that need a brush more than others as well if necessary. If they are younger I am happy to go through any "sit", "stay" etc training that you have been doing yourselves since I have taken 2 of my family dogs to puppy school and have experience in it.
I'm an avid bushwalker and have completed the 100 km Oxfam walk in the Perth Hills so am fit enough to go for those extra long walks if needed.
