Our family (Mum, Dad and 7yo daughter) loves dogs however sadly we lost our beautiful german short haired pointer, Scarlet, of 14 years and and our hearts are not quite yet ready to welcome another member of the family, just yet.

We would however love to offer our dog care services to love and look after your furry friend as we would our own. We can assure you that your dog will be well catered for by capable and confident dog lovers.

We are able to accept one small vaccinated dog or unvaccinated puppy if not quite old enough for all of their vaccinations. We are only able to accomodate one booking at a time with one animal to ensure your pet gets the utmost, personalised attention. Whilst someone is usually home, your pet should be able to enjoy their own company for a few hours on the off chance we need to go out. 

I am a Registered Nurse so am comfortable administering oral and injectable, prescribed medications if your dog requires these.

Your dog must be great with kids as our 7 year old loves dogs having grown up around Scarlet her whole life. Our daughter is very gentle however you can rest assured that she would never be left alone with your loved pet. 

We offer a meet and greet service to ensure you are comfortable that we can safely and confidently care for your beloved pet and confirm that we are a great fit. If you would like to book a 5night or longer stay, we request a single night booking to ensure suitability, we can discuss this upon enquiry.

Specifics about what we offer:

- a peaceful pet paradise for your dog to enjoy, including access to beautiful manicured lawn

- fully secured Brisbane location in the lovely, inner-city suburb of Seven Hills (5km east of Brisbane CBD)

- administration of prescribed medications (if indicated)

- 1:1 company including lots of love and cuddes (I work from home most days). We do not have any other pets so your dog can receive our undivided attention 

- clean, hygenic and diligently maintained living environment 

- adherence to your specified dietary requirements (meals and snacks to be supplied), plentiful supply of fresh water 

- access to good sized, fully fenced backyard with Sir Walter turfed grassed area for a beautiful under-paw feel

- at least daily walks through a lovely urban environment

- regular enrichment activities 

- comfortable sleeping quarters in our tiled laundry, close to living quarters to ensure we are able to respond quickly to your little one after hours. We can cater for dogs who prefer to sleep outside too, however our preference is for our pet guests to sleep indoors

- daily updates with photos to assure you your loved one is comfortable. Option to facilitate video calls with your darling if this would give you peace of mind.

We request that all dogs that are coming to visit:

- are house trained if they prefer to be indoors

- are generally calm and comfortable to be left in our backyard for a few hours at a time, if necessary (we do have CCTV so can monitor your beloved pet if we need to go out). We are unable to cater for dogs who bark persistently, have unmanaged anxiety, are aggressive or exhibit responsive / reactive behaviours

- have a bath within 24 hours of their arrival

- are up to date with flea and tick prevention 

- have a regular vet who can be contacted if an exacerbation of a pre-existing health condition occurs  

- are accompanied with all preferred bedding / meal time and water bowls / doggy doo bags / food and snacks etc.
