I’m Stacey (aka Sittin’ Pretty Pet Co.) your local, experienced, reliable and fulltime dog walker and pet sitter. Pawsome to meet you!

Have a read through the info I’ve provided below and if I could be a good fit shoot through a request with a little information about yourself, your pooch and/or other pets and how I can help!

- EXPERIENCE -

With support from my silly 11 yr. old Labrador Bella and my partner I have been sitting/dog walking since 2018. Over the years I have built up a loyal clientele, expanded my services and launched my small business fulltime.

- OUR HOME -

Bella (my dog), my partner and I have been slowly renovating our house. Although we haven’t quite got round to the landscaping yet, we are still ready for a game of fetch! 

We have a fantastic extra-large fenced-in backyard for dogs to explore and play in. There’s lots of grass, along with some fruit trees. We also have a big shady deck that wraps the back of the house. The yard is secure and fenced on all sides but as a precaution for sneaky escape artists I invite all meet & greets to check out the yard for themselves. 

If your doggo needs a rest from playing in the yard or prefers to be inside, there is plenty of space and sleeping spots to choose from inside. However, all guests must be house and toilet trained.

- ABOUT BELLA -

Although Bella is a senior, she can still be social with other dogs and is initially very excited to meet new friends. She’s not bothered if your pup prefers people but can be a bit of a grumpy old lady and sets her boundaries with boisterous pooches. Bella and I also won’t tolerate dominate or reactive behaviours and therefore we are best suited to sitting doggos who are calm, well-mannered, obedient and most importantly well socialised with both dogs and people.

Outside of playtime Bella is a snooze machine and likes to nap on one of her three beds (or the couch) and can’t resist a tasty carrot or treat.

- CARE & ACTIVITIES -

Our in-house exercise routine is playing fetch in our backyard but add-on walking services are also available. Please consider carefully the exercise, stimulation needs and typical daily routines of your pup and if walking services will be required.

When it comes to bedtime most guests opt to sleep in our bedroom with us, although not allowed to sleep on our bed, we will settle them on their own before turning out the lights. On the occasion we mind ‘outside’ doggos we are also happy to accommodate that as well. When no one is home, trusted and house-trained guests can remain inside.

Because I accommodate overlapping sits and day-care, I’m always available (space pending) to take on last minute bookings when life happens. If your doggo isn’t suited to having extra playmates I can also
accommodate home visits. Home visits are also available for cats and other pets.

- MEET & GREETS -

For doggos we haven’t cared for before an obligation free ‘meet and greet’ will need to be arranged, this includes walking and home visit services. For sits and daycare this initially takes place at the park on our street (neutral ground) to make sure Bella and your pup get along. If this goes well, we can proceed to having a play in our backyard and a bit more of chat about routines, behaviours, and any concerns.

- THE RIGHT FIT? -

Leaving your mate in the hands of a stranger is understandably hard as no one knows or loves them like you do, I feel the same when it’s my Bella. I always want to make sure we are the right sitter for you and your pup before any service takes place.

Although I am home more often than not, doggos need to be unperturbed being left on their own. This unfortunately means I’m unable to provide sitting or daycare services for pets that don't cope well in unfamiliar environments, suffer from separation anxiety or that need 24 hr supervision because of medical or destructive behaviours (such as chewing).

- PEACE OF MIND -

In case of an emergency local vets in proximity to our home include Vetwest Yokine and Balcatta Vet24. If you have a regular or preferred vet for any non-emergency situations, please provide their information upon check-in of your pups’ staycation and I of course will accommodate where possible.

*I also hold my own personal Public Liability Insurance along with up-to-date police clearance independent of Pawshake.
