Hi! Im Daisy (31), I live in Narraweena with my partner Joe. I work from home 3 days a week for a mental health charity.

I have been around dogs my whole life and I love every second spent with them! Unfortunately we can't yet adopt our own, so we dog sit as much as we can to get our fix!

My boyfriend Joe is an engineer and the biggest dog lover I know. He's out the house for between 10 and 12 hours a day so it will primarily be just myself at home during the day, with Joe joining of an evening.

Our place is a 2 bedroom ground floor granny flat, with wooden floors and a fully fenced garden. We have a lovely garden with dog friendly parks just down the road.

I come from a very animal friendly background. I grew up with a chocolate Labrador and an English springer. My Mum actually ran a dog sitting business when I was young so we often had several dogs in the house at once. She is an experienced trainer so I learned a lot from her about handling all kinds of personalities.

I have previously been a long term fosterer of dogs, taking in several dogs for periods ranging from a few weeks to a few months, including a Rottie x Staffy called Roger, who ended up being adopted by my Mum and can be seen in many of my pictures (the big black boy with a huge grin). He's a very special 30kg lapdog!

I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but I work in the office Tues/Thursday. Unfortunately that means I can't accept long term sitting as I can't be with your dog 7 days a week, but Friday to Monday I'm available for overnight stays, plus days in the week when I'm not in the office. Please do just message if you're unsure and we can make it work 🙂

My daily routine on a WFH or weekend day, looks like popping out to the gym early morning. Once I'm home from the gym I am home all day, I can even bring them along with me as it's a dog friendly place! Any errands I run your dog will be with me so they will be alone a minimal amount/no time. Ill pop out for another walk or 2 during the day for anywhere between 10 mins to 90 mins depending on age/breed/preferences/instructions! Having a dog fits in perfectly as we can keep each other company during the work day.

Im happy administering medication where needed, and can take care of any special requirements. I'll only take on a max of 1 dog at a time for boarding/day care to ensure they have my full attention.

Anybody sleeping over will be free to sleep where they most prefer. Either in the bedroom with me in their own bed (or perhaps in the bed if I team up with your dog and convince Joe 👀), or in the living room/kitchen.

I fully understand how difficult it can be to leave your dogs even for a few days. So I want you to know that with us, they will absolutely be treated like family by a couple who gets it!
