Jenna

Hi, my name is Jenna and I'm based on a few acres of bushland 10mins outside of Port Douglas.

I have been a passionate animal lover my whole life - I studied zoology at the University of Queensland, previously worked as a vet nurse, have experience with positive reinforcement training across a range of species (dogs, horses and even dolphins!) and am a permitted wildlife carer.

Your pets will stay in my loving home environment and be treated just like family. They will have full access to the house, verandah and a medium sized fenced backyard either with or without the company of my 2 dogs, depending on your dogs socialisation needs. All my animals receive individual attention, affection (including heaps of pats, cuddles and/ or brushing - whatever their favourite bonding activity), play and rest periods. In addition, I'll take them for an outdoor adventure each day - either to the beach, creek, bush or a play with other dogs in our fully fenced large grassy paddock.

I predominantly work from home so am present and able to supervise the fur babies most of the time (exception may be going out for groceries or to run an important errand). My goal is to create the best experience possible for your dog while you are away so that you can rest easy knowing your best friend is in a knowledgeable, kind and loving home-away-from-home.

Just provide your pet's food, bed (and favourite treats if you want) and I'll take care of the rest!
