About Fenella
We're a family of 7 who adore animals. My husband and I work from home; kids (age 15-24) come and go, but there is always someone home & our pets get heaps of love and attention. Our pets and pet visitors are part of the family ❤
We have 2 dogs & 2 cats; all get along well and socialise easily with other dogs.
We have capacity for 2 small/medium dogs, but our preference is for one visiting dog at a time. We prioritise bonding to build a long-term relationship with repeat visits. Some favourite regular visitors include staffies, terriers, pugs, schnauzers & oodles.
Our home is on a leafy estate surrounded by parklands; we walk our dogs daily in the parks and nearby fenced off-leash dog park or local dog beach.

Fenella and her family looked after my 11 yo labradoodle, Coco, for 3 weeks or so, while I made an overseas trip and then moved house interstate.
She was very accommodating with regard to pre booking communication, drop off and pick up, and food requirements (I provided the food, portioned out for this long stay). The knowledge that Fenella and her husband work from home, and along with their five children someone would be there all the time gave me extra peace of mind.
Best of all, I got regular photos showing my girl with the family, at the park, curled up on someone’s lap … and so on. I was in no doubt Coco was being treated as part of this loving family and when I finally collected her she was healthy and happy and relaxed.
Had I not moved interstate I would have returned to Fenella again and again. Highly recommended.
I booked Fenella to look after my 11yo labradoodle Coco, initially for a few days, but then extended to 3 weeks while I move house.
In these first few days, Fenella (and her husband James) have been excellent … very quick to communicate, very welcoming and reassuring when I dropped Coco off, very flexible and accommodating with her food and her habits, and sending me regular messages and photos to show me how happy and settled she is.
I am very glad I booked the extended stay and will add another review when that period is over.
But Fenella and her family have already shown what great pet sitters they are and I recommend them highly.
