I am an extremely devoted dog lover and have been my whole life. I currently work at a doggy day care facility in Richmond called; DogZone as one of their animal attendants.

I previously worked for the Spca of Malaysia as their head animal attendant (adult dogs) before deciding I want a career in this field, and where better than Melbourne to fulfil this dream!

It would not be a surprise for me to have up to 6-8 dogs in my house at one time being cared and loved for, being treated for their ailment and even basic training. As well as having 2 dogs with my family who live in Kuala Lumpur.

I have rescued too many dogs to count whether it be from situations of abuse, lost dogs, abandoned dogs, strays, puppies etc. I honestly love every single dog I meet and I really try to appreciate every dog for all their quirks and behaviour issues.

Working with dogs for me is extremely rewarding and I always look forward to meeting new dogs and continue to build relationships with canines I already know :) I do not judge any dog by first impressions as I’ve learnt many times it is not who they really are. I get along with all dogs, big, medium and Small; some might say I’m somewhat of a dog whisperer! I do enjoy handling large dogs the most, but don’t let that defer you from offering a smaller dog as I accept every and all dogs.

If a dog owner in public or at the park allows me to pet their dog be sure I’m not one to miss out in this opportunity!

I’m looking to have a career with animals (mainly dogs) and in doing so I’m in the process of enrolling into Certificate ii in Animal Studies to help further my understanding of this field of work more so than my experience has taught me.
