ABOUT ME
Hi, i'm Fran! I’m an experienced Pet-sitter and Architect working in Melbourne. I have been house sitting casually since 2018 but after returning from 4 months of travelling and pet sitting around Europe in 2022 I decided I wanted more house-sitting adventures! I have been housesitting full-time around Melbourne for over a year and I have absolutely loved getting to explore different sides of the city while having great animal company along the way!
I am a fully vaccinated, non-smoker who is easy-going, mature, reliable, well-mannered, considerate and tidy. I am an active individual, regularly walking, running or bike riding whenever I can. I enjoy meeting new people and animals, and I love the outdoors so taking fur-friends for long walks will not be a chore!
EXPERIENCE
I've looked after many animals over the years from tropical fish to big dogs, so I am very used to adapting to each animals unique needs, temperament, and routines. I’ve had experience with rescue animals with anxiety and those with health conditions requiring oral medications.
In my current job I have a bit of flexibility to do some work-from-home days. As I don't own a car, my ability to take on housesits would be limited to those that are relatively inner-city and/or with good public transport or bike routes.

* As I housesit on a full time basis while also working full time, I currently only have capacity for housesits that 14 nights or longer (to help reduce my moving around), but if I have a small gap in my calendar between 2 bookings I am happy to take on a shorter house sits!

We were just at ease our entire trip knowing we had Fran taking care of our cats and home. Fran was absolutely lovely, communication ran smoothly and she was warm and friendly, and gave us updates. Both cats took to her immediately, even Lil Gus who is usually rather timid. She’s definitely is our go to sitter.
