Hi there, I am Corinna, aka Coco, and I am here to take care of your pawesome companions!

I grew up with all kinds of pets (mostly dogs but also cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pet rats, parrots, fish...you name it!) and consider myself an absolute animal-lover. Unfortunately, my partner is allergic to cats and my full-time job does not allow me to adopt my own dog, so during the infamous lockdown of 2020 I had the idea to finally turn my love for animals into a profession and 'Coco and the Canines' was born. My main focus lies in providing individual care that perfectly suits your pet, because not every dog/cat/pet rabbit/lizard is the same. I focus mainly on dogs but also provide tender loving care for your feline friends.

Not every dog can be walked in groups, which is what most dog walkers usually offer. A senior dog may no longer be able to walk very far, some dogs need special attention, some just don't get along with other dogs. No matter what your pet needs, together with you I will come up with the best possible activities, enrichment games, walking routes or toys for your furry friend. I strive to work hand in hand with pet parents while following the basic principles of low-impact and fear-free handling. I offer the following services, but feel free to contact me for anything that might not be on the list. Chances are we can arrange something.

Dog walking (the price and service listed above is for a 30 minute walk, but longer or shorter walks are of course available, private walks only - limited to the dogs of one household)

Dog washing (Taking your dog to DIY dog wash stations, always includes brushing beforehand and drying afterwards - please note: I am not a professional groomer and can not give your dog a clip!)

Pet Taxi

Vet visits (I will pick up your pet at your home, take them to their appointment and drop them back off at your place)

In-house Pet sitting (Duration of your choice, always includes lots of cuddles and playtime!)

Home visits (at least 30 minutes, to feed your pet, clean litter boxes, and most importantly play and give lots of cuddles!)

I like bringing toys or puzzles with me to engage your dog's natural talents, let them use their nose and really bring out their full cognitive potential. For a similar reason I love taking dogs out on "Sniffaris", which are particularly beneficial for seniors that can't do much physical activity anymore or overly excited dogs that tend to pull on their lead. Letting a dog decide where they want to go and which scent they would like to follow can have a lasting impact on their stress-levels and in turn positively influence their behaviour.

I work full-time, which means that I am available most days after 5 pm, but feel free to contact me for more information.
