My family loves animals and we enjoy having company for our very social and playful 4 year old desexed female Shetland sheepdog as well as a few regular small dogs I have for doggie daycare weekly.

We have a clean, smoke free home with a large securely fenced backyard and front yard. I am a stay at home mum with our 3.5 year old son whom adores dogs. We do usually go out for a few hours in the morning for my sons activities but am otherwise home. I always ensure the dogs have had a morning walk first thing in the morning and the afternoons always entail another big walk and/or a trip to the little dogs only dog park. We regularly go on outings to different dog friendly walks, parks and beaches too.

We only would like to host smaller sized dogs as we have a young son. They will be allowed inside and have access outside as they please to a fully fenced yard. If we are out they will be kept inside and also sleep inside. He/she must also be good with young children, not destroy furniture, be toilet trained and not be too barky/yappy/whingy.

I will feed your dog exactly as you would at home, just bring their food along with you, no matter how simple or complicated. I am fairly flexible with pick up and drop times, however before 8am or in the afternoon is most convenient. I will send photos of your dog throughout his/her stay to keep you updated on their adventures. I would also need to ensure they are on tick and flea treatments too as Maleny is susceptible to the paralysis tick. I’m happy to administer any medications if needed.
