Hi Dear Pet Owners!



We've been travelling and joyously pet/house sitting on and off for over twelve years. We genuinely love animals of all kinds and are totally devoted to caring for your pets and your home while you're away.

Your complete peace of mind is important to us and we’re happy to send pictures and updates as little or as much as you'd like, so that you can enjoy your holiday knowing your babes are safe and happy! We are available for house sitting for 4+ nights during the School holiday periods (we're not available for other times of the year.)

Due to current family circumstances with ageing parents, Melanie will not be available to pet sit, however Michael has undertaken many sits by himself, with great reviews, so you'll be in good hands!

We've taken care of dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens (including lap chickens), birds, fish, rabbits, lizards and worms! We’re happy to administer medication and care as needed. 

As much as love taking care of your pets, we prefer not to have pets sleep on the bed with us. Between us we've personally owned and loved dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and birds. Unfortunately we're not able to have pets in our current home (we live in a strata situation) which is why we love to look after other people's pets!

We're down-to-earth, friendly, professional, kind and honest - we're extremely clean and tidy, fully COVID vaccinated and non-smokers. Michael is 59 and works from home a few hours a week managing family investments and Melanie, 53, is a semi-retired yoga and dance teacher - so we're at home most of the time with your pets to give them lots of love and attention.

We've travelled and worked together extensively around the world over the last twelve years and we now really enjoy being 'home bodies', living a quiet, simple life - partying is not our thing! We both have police checks.

We're very healthy and active, we enjoy doing yoga, walking and taking time in nature, we love the beach. The canine pets we sit for love our daily walks and our other furry friends usually love to join us on the floor for daily yoga! : ) Our children are grown and do not travel with us to pet/house sits.

We're very respectful of your home and your privacy, we feel it's a privilege to step into your lives and take care of your pets and homes whilst you're away, so you can trust us to take exceptional care of everything for you. We've owned (and currently own our own home) several properties, so you can feel confident that we can handle unexpected issues as they arise and be in communication with you as required. We are fully contactable when we pet sit so you have peace of mind.

We’re relatively new to this site, however we have many lovely reviews and references from various house and pet sitting sites which we are happy to send you.

We've cared for every kind of property imaginable from large and luxurious homes, to heritage listed properties, smaller city/suburban homes and apartments, to rugged off-the-grid acreage and large rural retreat properties and farmland. We're adept at pool maintenance, gardening/chainsaws, tractors/ride on mowers and off-the grid upkeep.
