I am available for pet sitting at your home, dog walking, as well as to check in and feed your pets for a day or multiple overnight as needed, with experience in short and longer-term bookings (with an established 1-21 days positive home-stay recorded experiences). 

Services available include: 

- I am available morning, afternoon and/or evening to reasonable request. I am happy to adapt to your furry friend's schedule.

- For walks, I can provide 30-60 minutes of activity. I currently walk 2x dogs for 1-2 days per week on a set schedule who I absolutely adore!  

- I have experience in administering oral and injectable medications as needed. 

- For home visits and stays, I am happy to stay as long as needed, with experience in 1-22 days in caring for 1-5 pets. I am also happy to water your plants and bring in the mail, put out/bring in bins, and follow personalised instructions and security measures to ensure that you feel that your pet(s) and home are in good hands. 

About me: 

I am currently in the throes of writing my PhD thesis as a candidate at the University of Tasmania (UTas). By training, I am a clinical dentist with 7 years of experience looking after wonderful people and families in the Tasmanian community. I am currently completing my PhD in intervention science at UTas whilst working from home full-time and no longer working clinically. This, fortunately, allows me to be fairly flexible with my time and schedule upon reasonable request. 

Throughout my life, I've had the privilege of being surrounded by animals, having grown up on a farm (45+ acre) in the south of Tasmania. This lifelong companionship has enriched my understanding of various pet breeds, particularly dogs of small to large sizes, cats, chickens, goats, and horses of medium to large breeds. I currently own two pugs (Max and Teddy) with my amazing husband, who are absolutely spoiled.

How I can help:

I would love to take your dog for walks, feed all pets and check in on them, or stay with them in your home for the day or overnight, with experience in both short and longer-term bookings (with 1-22 days experience). I am respectful of your home and space, and consider myself a clean, tidy and professional person.

I can tend to a diverse range of requirements and dispositions, with the flexibility to tailor my caregiving approach to each pet's unique needs and temperament, including anxious temperaments. I also have cared for various pets, including horses, ponies, chickens, birds, bunnies, birds, and cats. 

Kind requests from me: 

- A safe, clean, and secure space and home to care for, and;

- Good to unlimited WiFi for home stays so that I may be able to complete my work as needed.
