About Lauren
Hello,
My name is Lauren and I LOVE minding pets in their own homes. I'm in the Maroondah are however for longer stays I can travel around Melbourne.
My experience originally came from being asked multiple times to Pet/house sit for friends and family. I'm happy to share that one friend flew me to Perth to look after her two dogs while taking herself on a well earned holiday.
Ive now been on Pawshake for over a year with an enriching selection of jobs. I've worked with a variety of breeds, personality's, routines, medical needs, home set ups and really fantastic people. Ive received excellent reviews with repeat clients.
I am very flexible and am available most days. I value the benefits of Minding Pets and keeping to their routines and familiar areas.
My focus is about the Responsibility, Safety, Trust and Wellbeing of each individual Pet. Minding your loved one is about meeting your needs and tailoring a schedule to suit. Also adapting to each pets behavioural needs and understanding different personalities and temperaments.
My preference is to do overnight stays for those going away Holiday/Work. Walks are included in my price, giving medication and light house duties. Eg bins, mail, washing blankets.
I have a fantastic house mate who has a wonderful relationship with my dog Murphy, so he is well looked after at home while I'm Minding.
Australian Red Cross Pet First Aid , police check and working with children check are available. Please see my experience (skills) section of profile for referrals. Although I don't drive I have two people local to Maroondah available for emergency. I'm happy to cover cost of any Taxi required.
