Joana & Ash

Hello!

My partner (Ash) & I (Joana) love dogs and are always keen to have dogs around and in the house to keep us company.

We have just moved to Adelaide from London where we often dogsat which we really enjoyed. We used a similar site as this in the UK which allowed us to make friends with lots of dogs in our area. We were dogwalking quite regularly and also having dogs stay with us while their owners were away. There were three dogs in particular that would often stay with us - Tusha who is the sausage dog in our profile photo, Pippa the yawning dog in the 9th photo and the cuddliest Hazel with us on the 5th picture. We loved having them stay with us and miss them already!

Ash grew up with dogs (and has a mild obsession with them...) so he is very experienced, especially with larger dogs. We are both keen on getting our own dog (and maybe even a cat if I can convince Ash...) once we feel we have settled a bit more and are ready for the long-term commitment.

I work from home and find it really nice to have a dog keeping me company during the day (I have been known to work on the sofa so I can work and cuddle at the same time!) and encouraging me to go on walks.

Our house is spacious and has a large, fenced backyard perfect for lots of running around.
