I live and breathe animals and have experience working across various sectors of the pet industry for the past 18 years, since I was old enough to have a job. My home menagerie currently consists of 1 cat, 1 dog, 5 snakes and 6 aquariums. I am reliable, honest and trustworthy. 

I have worked with and owned most types of domestic pets including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, small animals, birds and poultry. I see every animal as an individual with a unique personality and I'm looking to help like minded pet parents take the best care of their furry, feathered and scaley babies. My speciality lies with cats, dogs and ornamental fish; I have a thorough understanding of many common health conditions that can affect these animals as well as being able to identify specific behaviours surrounding fear, aggression, affection, stress and illness, as well as normal behaviours specific to particular species and breeds. I follow a positive reinforcement based training protocol and believe strongly in environmental enrichment to provide the best quality of life for our fur babies. 

Having worked hands on with dogs in a grooming salon environment for a number of years, I have a strong understanding in canine body language and have been known to build trust with even the most timid pooches in a short period of time. I am always happy to give advice and recommendations on care, nutrition and husbandry if you have any questions. My pet sitting service involves me coming to your house to look after your pets so you can have peace of mind that they are being well cared for without disrupting their daily routine too much. While tending to your pets they will receive lots of cuddles and play time to ensure they are emotionally and physically enriched. I have no problem caring for animals with special needs and administering medication if required. This includes giving injections, oral medication or applying ointments. Rest assured that nervous animals will not be pushed outside their boundaries and I will respect that they will approach me once they are comfortable. I am more than happy to provide updates on your pets while you are away, as frequently as you desire. 

If you have a pet cam in your home that is no problem, but I ask that you please inform me of this prior to the commencement of the job as it is a legal obligation. I am also a green thumb and can take water your plants in your absence, bring in your mail and put your bins out. 

I am a qualified groomer and can take your pets for a spruce up while you're away if required. Grooming/bathing costs are additional to pet sitting fees. If you would like to book a grooming service without a pet sitting booking please contact me to make arrangements. 

My dog walking service includes a 1hr walk or run with your pooch around your area including basic obedience training. This is available to pet parents within a 5km radius, however I can travel further if desired for an additional fee. To minimise risk to your pet I will only ever walk pets from one household at any given time. I am also introducing doggy day care options to social pooches who need a little extra attention. 

Day care packages run for 3 hours and include play time, outings to parks, beaches or swimming holes, and basic training. Pick up and drop off are also available at an additional cost depending on your location. All bookings include a complimentary meet and greet beforehand to ensure your fur kids are comfortable with me and I am the right sitter for you. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to get in touch :) ☆Please note that households with multiple pets (more than 4) may be subject to a surcharge for pet sitting services due to the amount of time involved in providing adequate care. This will be assessed on a case by case basis depending on the types of pets you have and their individual needs.
