About Susann
In our house, pets are part of the family. We live with two dogs, a cat, and a tank full of fish, but there's always more room and love to spare for more furry friends!
PLEASE NOTE:
While we do accept large dogs, we ask for your understanding if we decide that your larger pup might not be a good fit for our multigenerational family. Ideally, they would be
* 25kg or less
* and/or large but very calm
* well trained
I grew up with various types of animals--birds, guinea pigs, mice, cats, dogs, horses--and I'm confident in handling and caring for different kinds of pets. My family enjoy having our dogs and cat around, but making even more friends sounds like a great idea all around.
Our cat Sweetie is shy, but used to dogs. Moki, our Samoyed boy, is a real life teddy bear and total sunshine, and very much looking forward to getting to know your dog. Little Ember can be slightly reserved--she is still learning--but once the ice is broken, she'll be more than happy to play with our guests.
During your pet's stay, they have full access to the house and regular access to the outdoor area. We have toys and can provide bedding, but you're free to bring whatever accessories your fur friend would like to have around for the duration of their vacation with us.
Your dog can expect at least two daily walks through the neighbourhood and parks or our beautiful bush. In addition, there might be occasional trips to the dog park if weather and circumstances allow and your dog is happy to mingle.
Morning: ~1-2h
Afternoon: ~0.5-1h
We are happy to feed your dog according to their individual schedule and with any food supplied (including frozen raw etc.).
What we're looking for in our guests:
* vaccinated and de-wormed
* neither dog, nor cat aggressive
* okay with children
* no mature intact males, no females in heat
* accepting up to two dogs from the same household
If your dog is not housetrained or has any particular requirements, please let us know at first contact.

Our puppy, Louigi, has had a great time with Susanne and her family while we were away for 2 weeks. We received daily updates from Susanne about Louigi, which was very reassuring. We are very pleased that we found Susanne, and will definitely book with her again.
As usual, Chewy enjoyed her time with Sussan and her family.
