Hello, my name is Emma and I have been a pet sitter on Pawshake since July 2017.
I have used Pawshake before and was so happy with the care and professionalism of other petsitters that I wanted to be a part of the team too :-) I am a preschool teacher in the Belconnen area and used to petsit in the Gungahlin area until I moved to Belconnen a few weeks ago. I am willing to continue to come and visit your pets if you live in the Gungahlin area and also begin in the Belconnen area.
I have a big pup of my own, who I rescued from Wagga pound in 2016. He brings me so much happiness, so I definitely know how much pets mean to us and how important it is to know that they are being taken care of with love while away from them. In regards to looking after your pets, I am able to offer 1-2 house visits and dog walking at this stage. As a teacher of young children, patience comes naturally to me and I know how to play and have fun, so I will show the same to your pets when I come to visit them.
It also made me feel comforted when I got photos of my pup while I was away, so I am more than happy to give the same to you as well. To organize the initial meet and greets, I am able to meet you at your place before and after work during the week and on the weekends I am able to visit at any time that suits you. I would love to follow a routine for your pet, so please let me know of any special things that you need me to do for you. I am also able to keep up any tidying of your house while you're away.
Emma was fantastic with our dog ‘Clarkey’. She communicated daily with photos of Clarkey so we could see how she was going. Emma also stayed a little longer on one visit to comfort Clarkey as she noticed she was scared of the thunder. We will definitely be using Emma again and would highly recommend anyone else do so.
I would highly recommend Emma! She was quick to respond, easy to book and made the process a dream. I got lots of photos of my two cats she was looking after on my holiday which gave a lot of peace of mind. Thanks so much Emma!!
I don't have any animal specific skills, but I love to learn new things along the way
