About Janine

Hello Pooch owners,

We are a family who would love to host your dog whilst you are away.
We adore dogs and their personalities!

Sadly last Christmas we lost our 13yr old beloved staffie. She was an integral part of our family.

Whilst we are not ready to get another dog, we would love a dogs energy around. We often used pet sitters ourselves when we went away and know how beneficial it is to leave your dog with a family to be loved rather than kennels. 
We have also housesat many dogs and cats when we first arrived in Australia many years ago.
Now we would love to care for other dogs in return.

My husband and I had a variety of dogs and have experience with large and small breeds and understand pack mentality with different breeds.

We have a large back garden which backs on to a bush reserve for long nature walks. Photos shows nature walks behind the house.
Your dog would sleep inside, be well loved,
have daily company and benefit good walks/runs.

We have a dog flap for a medium sized dog.

** Your dog must be child friendly. Our boys are 6 & 9. They are both respectful of dogs and their boundaries especially during eating and down time but your dog needs to be used to children's energy.

This was the second time Janine and her family took care of our dog. Just like the first time her communication was great, she sent lots of photo to us while he was in her care and took really good care of him. He was happy and content when we collected him, I'm sure he can't wait to go and visit again!
