I like to live my life in a relaxed, peaceful and supportive environment that reflects my personal values of giving back and contributing to the wider community.
I have a strong passion for animals and understand that every critter is different with their own special personality and needs. I hope to provide help that allows you to feel confident your pets are receiving the highest possible level of care.
My services are responsible, compassionate, transparent and flexible towards your families needs. I believe in 100% non-aversive solutions for training. So whether you need an extra hand at home, are going on holiday, or even teaching your children about the responsibility of pet ownership, I’d love to help!
My experience with animals crosses many species and multiple breeds from all walks of life. I grew up next to an emu farm, & have personally owned dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, goats and seawater aquarium fish. I've worked with shy, stray, feral, rescue, rehomed and "aggressive" (usually just scared & anxious) animals. This has included basic needs, socialisation, behaviour & environmental modification, education programs as well as working with a number of health conditions.
As a pet owner you deserve to feel complete trust and a sense of ease in being assured that no matter your circumstances, someone understands your pet is a member of the family and deserves the best treatment and care.

Reviews
I would strongly recommend Carolyn for pet sitting. Carolyn has regularly cared for my dog since he was a young puppy, and has been very conscientious and helpful with managing his behaviour and supporting ongoing socialisation and training. I was very stressed about finding a sitter who would provide safe and comprehensive care for my puppy, but Carolyn made me feel very comfortable and confident from the first meet and greet where she demonstrated her preparation, competence and dedication to understanding the needs of my pup. Carolyn provides a lot of communication, including videos and photos and has been very flexible with accommodating timing and dates of bookings. My biggest challenge is finding any other sitter I can feel as comfortable with if Carolyn is ever unavailable.
Carolyn clearly has a deep love for animals and their welfare.
I had Buckley booked in for a 25 night stay but it unfortunately didn’t work out for us. Based on Carolyn’s recommendation I needed to find an alternative sitter as Buckley was unable to settle alone at night and after 5 nights there were concerns for his welfare. This was a stressful process to organise while overseas but worked out the best for Buckley and was the right decision.
Carolyn would be a fantastic option for any dog that happily sleeps alone but for my anxious little cavoodle that needed close proximity to people at night, this wasn’t the right fit.
